One aspect to the Go that I would REALLY like to see in a future update is to allow the default background of the GO and the 'house' environment on the lake when you are in that media viewer app to have their environments be animated for maximum immersion effect. While super cool at first, once you brain acclimates to them, the lack of any motion in them breaks the immersion. If we can pick environmental backgrounds that have animation to them like clouds moving across the sky and stars at night that would be amazing. My own personal wish is to get a TRON (80's movie or the current remakes) backgrounds that are high tech cool with awesome moving scenery still.
This is just a little thing as overall the device is really awesome and the whole family is loving it. Looking forward to hopefully features like that making it into the product to really dial up the immersion dial even more to make this like my escape away from real-life even more than it already is haha! You guys really got something here, please keep up the great efforts to expand features and experiences, zero regrets buying this product as this being my literal 1st time foray into VR.
I would love that too, although I think that is a limitation of the GO, if it were animated it would be more power hungry and use more resources, don't forget the environment still exists when you use the browser or watch video etc.
But you never know what magical things they will come up with next.
