a spokesperson didn’t have any details if it was going to be released to the GO.......come on Oculus!!

Unfortunately sideload won't work as YouTube vr depends on Google services which won't work with the go.

Have you guys noticed that vr180 videos freshly uploaded on youtube are working with the Go?
Then after like 8 hours they are downgraded to 720p and 180 turned off (but still working with the rift with the youtube VR app in steam).

Can we conclude from that that Youtube is doing this on purpose? What do you think?

I'd like to test this issue. What are you using to create you VR180 videos? I have a Lenovo Mirage VR180 Camera and I've uploaded the default files that I get off the camera to YT and they aren't recognized as VR180. Any suggestions?
