Oculus Medium for Oculus GO or Santa Cruz?

Medium is by far the killer app for VR IMO and I’m curious if we could expect this kind of app in a mobile setting? I don’t have my power computer setup in a while and will most likely rely on Mobile VR for a bit when those two are released.

Hey Kevin, thanks for the compliment 🙂

As far as Medium on Oculus GO is concerned, the shear GPU/CPU/Memory requirements of Medium in its current state don't make it a great candidate for that platform. It's conceivable a variation of it could work for Santa Cruz, but right now we're focused on making the core Rift based Medium the best it can be and growing and refining it.

That being said, who knows what's coming around the bend, we on the Medium team operate our planning on pretty short timelines so we can be reactive to our users.

Not to mention that Oculus GO won't have positional tracking.
