After Quest update v13 oculus link stoped working

Says a software update is required for oculus link beta But there is no update showing I opted in the public test channel but that did nothing

FINALLY got the PC app update to v13 after a restart and can confirm link is working just fine again (Quest 13/PC 13). Wouldnt have been a Problem If theyd Just talked to us

For me, helped to launch OculusSetup in oculus directory, and choose "Repair". After that, you gonna update to v13. After it installs, !!!;DO NOT UPDATE APP,!!! it will bring you back to v12. And yes, Link is working perfectly for me.

Comming from PSVR this kind of thing is abysmal, how in the world would they release an update and not garantee that no customer would have their expansive product just stopped having access to games that they bought?
I know its in "beta" and that concept doesn't even exist with sony, but really this is just bad planning. If a release is ready and needed in 2 different but connected products then only release one when the other is also available.
