Hi everyone to stream the screen of my quest I'm using the Airreceiver application, except that since I made the update 18 on my oculus quest impossible to stream because I get an error message.

This is outrageous. Neither the Chromecast emulation works anymore, nor the Oculus app's integrated streaming... the latter breaks after just a few seconds.

I hope it's unintentional from oculus because it's really disgusting to block apps that make it easier to record and stream on the quest.
And also the basic recording of the quest sucks.
I completely agree. The native recording features works per se, however it has issues. For instance, the resolution being limited to a square (this can be changed using ADB but it doesn't persist in between restarts, may also cause performance issues), the recording FPS/lag while recording, etc. I agree and hope this is fixed soon.
There is a manual upgrade tutorial on Wiki. I found the complete firmware and returned to V17. I’ve had enough, and I don’t want it to upgrade automatically again. It is unwise to turn all users into experimental users.
@leeonl can you link the firmware package you found for us? and did AirReceiver casting still work after rolling back to V17? Thanks!
yes,It works just as well as it did before。You will need to upgrade manually with the complete firmware version V16 602380.24900.0.and the V17 upgrade patch is based on V16 602380.24900.0 .google will help:-P
