Cannot do a manual search (keyboard not voice) on Amazon Prime, it just crashes. Have uninstalled and reinstalled and have the latest firmware update but still the same. Anybody else have this issue or know how to fix it?
Hi, I’ve just tried it myself. Mine doesn’t crash as such, but as soon as I press the search icon the menu bar/home screen disappears & I’m not sure how to get it back without quitting the app & relaunching it. so to answer your question.. mine doesn’t work either.
I have the same issue as @SteveG7RTA and Amazon need to fix their damn app. Oculus need to force Amazon otherwise they should remove it from store until the search facility has been fixed. We're not beta testers, we're consumers and so we need to use our power (money) as leverage.
Amazon through sideloaded Kodi works fine. It's a community app, so it's not official, so it takes a while to do the initial site scrape to fill in all the categories, but after that it works as expected. There's actually 2 versions of the Amazon add-on...Amazon, for German speaking users, and Amazon VOD, which allows you to select your region. The German version's just as fast as the website, but it's only in German. 😛
