The reason is covid19.

Couriers usually use the spare luggage capacity of passenger planes to ship packages around the world. But due to the pandemic, there is a massive shortage of passenger flights. So the couriers have to use what little is available. So we get odd routes like yours going 2400km north from hong kong to japan, then to taiwan, while mine went from hong kong to china to singapore, that's just the only flights they had room on.

Unfortunately my Go's tracking isn't available anymore. It was with DHL, and it went Friday: pick up in Hong Kong. Saturday: in NSW. Sunday: at my house in Brisbane.

My Quest 1 was with Fedex and it left Hong Kong on a Tuesday and arrived at my house on the friday.

My China based quest just got an "in transit" update

I went off and checked through 2 years of emails for previous shipping tracking in the middle of writing the post.

Hitting F5 during a post can wipe its contents if the draft hasn't saved at the right time.

Umm, why refresh the fedex? It says delivered, not going to get much more up to date than that. 🙂

Similar route for me here in NZ, it went from a scheduled Mon 20th to pending.

Unlike the Elite strap that came in 2 days directly from China to NZ then sat in the depot for 5 days until yesterday.

I suspect it is due to the battery that they took different routes and probably same reason its stuck.

Although you think the battery would be better taking the route fewer flights.

I love my Q2 Elite headband (one without the battery).  I velcro strapped an external 10000mahr battery pack (one that I've been using with my Q1) to the back bottom of the rubber cup and this made it just about perfectly balanced, an more runtime than I'll ever use. 

I also ran a 3/4" velcro strap around the band, just behind the Q2 speakers, going over my head, just behind my forehead.  Helps take the weight off.  Feels like it is just floating on my face now.  Feels as comfortable as my Rift cv1 now.
