I've just been told my Quest 2's trip around south east asia (china, around the islands and back to china) is normal.

Also there is usually a singapore stop before it comes to NZ or Aus.  My delivery date has been pushed back 2 days now.  And I've been told to expect a week delay (by Fedex) once it hits singapore tomorrow.

OK, got my Q2 delivered by Fedex this afternoon (Monday 19 Oct).  I got my Elite headband last Friday.  All looks and works great so far.  I've been playing with it all day and I'm probably about due for a little shut-eye now (11pm).  Setup was a snap (esp. since I've been using a Q1 for a while now).  I got both Link (w/official link cable I already had)) and wireless w/Virtual Desktop setup without any problems.  I'll test it out on a few more games tomorrow and report my finding in the Q2 user reviews thread.  Happy days!

Tom whats the elite strap like ?

I love my Q2 Elite headband (one without the battery).  I velcro strapped an external 10000mahr battery pack (one that I've been using with my Q1) to the back bottom of the rubber cup and this made it just about perfectly balanced, an more runtime than I'll ever use. 

I also ran a 3/4" velcro strap around the band, just behind the Q2 speakers, going over my head, just behind my forehead.  Helps take the weight off.  Feels like it is just floating on my face now.  Feels as comfortable as my Rift cv1 now.

Sorry no pics but I'm sure you'll easily figure this out mate.  Again, with maybe a bit more detail;

I'm actually very happy with my Q2 Elite headband (one without battery pack). I attached a 10000mahr external battery pack (that I was using with my Q1) with a couple of 3/4" velcro straps on the lower rear rubber head cup and this balances things out great. Big plus is that this positions the battery below the plastic headband and in the crook of your neck. So, it does not get in the way of the rear adjustment knob, nor does it get in the way of a high chair back.

Also, I added a 3/4" velcro strap around the front of the headband, just rear of the Q2 speakers, and over the top front of my head. Then tensioned this a little to take any remaining weight off the faceplate. Mt Q2 now feels like it is just floating on my face now, with very little pressure. Probably the most comfortable VR headset I currently own now (Rift cv1, Q1, Q2, Vive Pro).

Quest 2 delivery parked in Singapore 12 hours ago.  Its sitting there.  Just sitting at the facility.

Yesterday's delivery window missed.  Delay notification for today at 5pm is unbloodylikely.

Why do Oculus/Facebook not distribute through electronic stores?

Update:  Guys check your tracking.  My unit has arrived in Sydney and is waiting for pickup (already cleared customs).  So while asian fedex depots cleared this item and moved it on quickly, the typical aussie depot will probably take the remainder of the weekend. 😞   But there's hope for us.

Oculus support provided a 30aud store credit.  so a small discount to another purchase. yay.

Nice on the $30 , mine shipment took 3 days from landing in sydney , so Sydney > Melbourne > Geelong . So hopefully not too long for you now.

Mine just got delivered today a day later than the scheduled delivery date....Not terrible but still 10 days on an international priority shipping service is quite ridiculous even factoring in COVID.
