If I'm just playing a sitting game I often use my Q1 cable and charger with my Q2 without any problems. Just try to make sure your headset battery is at least 85-90% charged to begin with. If you start off too low you'll create a lot of heat with your headset battery because it's trying catch up its charge while discharging at the same time.
