The new Air Link is amazing, those of us who have tested it and compared it with Oculus Link and Virtual Desktop know that and although it has certain details to polish, my opinion is that it will become the new standard for connecting Quests to the PC.
With the update v28 we have also changed certain parameters of the ODT and although we know that for correct operation the Bitrate must be left at 0, I would like to know if, as with the Oculus Link, we can improve the quality of the image by adjusting the rest of parameters.
Have these parameters been published for optimal image quality? Regardless of the Hardware, it is only to know what maximum values can be applied and then adjust according to my hardware.
For example, is a Encode Resolution With of 3664 still valid?
Greetings and thanks in advance

Until Air Link gets out of experimental beta I don’t think fine tuning settings is going to be very useful. For now I think you’re best to leave most in auto/dynamic.

Ya, Air Link is very impressive. Especially since it's a first version experimental beta. Being an old Rift cv1 hand I feel more comfortable using the Oculus home. It will be interesting to see how much better it gets in the near future. I seem to recall an Oculus blog that said that they will be making the Oculus desktop app seamless with the Quest home.
I've use VD for quite a while and just started using Air Link today and really like it. So far I've found it's best to leave the ODT pretty well as you have it and use the Oculus tray tool (OTT) to adjust things like SS and ASW. You can do this globally and/or use game profiles. I also found it best to just leave AL bitrate at Dynamic and let it decide, Likewise with the Oculus desktop device graphics quality settings. I'm also getting better performance using 80Hz. My old eyes don't seem to see much improvement going to higher refresh rates anyway, lol!

Here another old CV1 user;)
Since Oculus Home included the SS setting, I stopped using OTT to save resources. The subject of game profiles I do not use much, I prefer an SS always the same for everyone and improve in graphic sections of the game when it allows me.
SteamVr always in manual at 100%.
I usually use them for simracing and occasionally other games like Contractors, TWD, Alyx ...
So I came up with a lot of testing at an ideal match in ODT for Oculus Link. This was:
Now we have new parameters such as Encode Dynamic Bitrate or Dynamic Bitrate Max.
At the moment I have these in 0 or default, but I would like to know if they have already spoken about the values that can be shuffled in these parameters.
I know it may seem early for this, but as I said, in simracing every slight visual or performance improvement we try to make the most of it.
Regards.

OK, we just have to wait for it to be definitively released and see if the ODT parameters affect it again.
The bad thing is that now I have lost the extra quality that I got with the cable, but in short, everything is to progress towards that Perfect Air Link.
Thanks
