Bit of clarity on the Oculus? eg: So can it access Steam VR titles and Oculus titles from the PC?

So being a Rift owner, I have titles in Steam and the Oculus store...

Questions:-
1) What titles (owned in the Oculus store for the Rift) will automatically be offered to me for free directly on the Quest (as I've already purchased them for the Rift)?
2) To play titles from Steam or the Oculus store via my PC, I assume the new Oculus Link cable will be required? And then all my Steam and Oculus store titles could be rendered from my PC (over the Oculus Link cable) to my the Quest? Resulting in an experience some what like a Rift?
3) For any Rift owners, how have then found the reduced frame rate of the Quest compared to it?

Thanks...

1.  To see which Rift titles you would get for free on the Quest, look through the Quest store for titles you own on the Rift—if they list both Quest and Rift in the “supported platforms” section of the store page, then they are cross-buy. (They’ll also list “free” as the price, but that might only happen once you have a Quest linked to your account.) Many of the games that appear on both platforms support cross-buy, but there are some notable exceptions that don’t; Beat Saber, SuperHot, Moss, Job Simulator, Red Matter, and Kingspray are the ones I can think of that aren’t cross-buy.

2.  The Oculus Link cable should make a Quest work like a Rift for playing PCVR titles, including “unknown source” titles like SteamVR games. It is already possible to stream SteamVR games to the headset over wifi using Virtual Desktop. You have to buy the Quest version of VD, and you have to side-load a patched version of VD through SideQuest to enable SteamVR streaming. Google “sidequest” and you’ll find step-by-step instructors on their web site. The performance depends on the quality of your wifi signal, but in ideal conditions, it works pretty well. Link is expected to be significantly better, in terms of image quality and latency.

3.  Coming from a CV1 to the Quest, I don’t really notice the reduction from 90 to 72 Hz. Perhaps I’m just not overly sensitive to it, but Quest feels fine to me, even playing fast stuff like Beat Saber.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Many thanks for that!

(1) Excellent, I'll look at the Store.
(2) Most of my paid for library is on Steam, so from what you say then the Oculus Link will therefore allow me to play all those VR Steam titles on a Quest (using the Oculus Link).
(3) Thanks... Do you think the Quest looked a bit crisper than the CV1?

The lenses are better (like the Go and Rift S), so the god rays are less of an issue. The resolution is higher, but most native Quest content doesn’t render at the full resolution of the screens. The Oculus browser and home menus are definitely sharper than CV1. I’m looking forward to seeing how it compares with CV1 using Link.

Yeh, once a review comes through for the Oculus Link, and it confirms I can play my existing Oculus/Steam library on the Quest easily (via the Link) and fairly well (ie: reasonably speed and graphical quality), I think I'll move over to the Quest and sell my CV1...

You can play the SteamVR games now using 5 Ghz wifi / LAN Cable connected PC + ALVR (side loaded)
Search in YouTube or look up ALVR on SideQuest for more info.
