I don’t find it blurry and I have a slight astigmatism, but even without my glasses I don’t find the picture blurred. Are you sure you have the headset fitted correctly and adjusted the ipd etc by following the instructions? https://support.oculus.com/855551644803876/
Yes i did it multiples times, trying to fit the headset in various positions and adjusting the ipd in various positions too, it is still blurry, and 3 persons who tested it had the same comment : blurry, the texts on the home screen are blurry and it's really annoying...
Your expectations for clarity might be off a bit. You're not going to be getting 2d desktop quality here, especially on mobile hardware released in 2016
Hi, i think what i am talking about is the lens glare
It happens mainly with high contrast scenes. For example, white on black. The white refracts in teh lenses and creates some halos all around the object
That’s a feature I’m afraid, it’s a compromise - fresnel lenses offer a wider FoV and larger sweet spot but suffer from god rays (it’s much better than the CV1 Rift by the way, so things have improved)
Blurriness went away for me I've been using these magnetic lens prescription adapter inserts as they have totally changed my VR experience comfort wise. They are half the price of competitors WidomoVR, VR Optician and 3D printed just like the rest of them. All you need are these magnetic adapters https://www.etsy.com/listing/710848026/oculus-quest-rift-s-magnetic and $9.95 prescription lens from Zenni
