Hi all

i am new and just received my Quest 2.

I wonder if i can download all apps in the oculus store and play/use on my Quest 2, even if its only stated Rift or Rift-S? looking forward to play some new games like Asgards Wrath and Lone Echo,  but can I play these on my Quest 2 after i paid for them?

Btw, .. Is there a smart way to filter just content for the Quest 2?

Thank you all

You should be good to go (as long as your PC meets the Link minimum requirements). Looks fine based on the specs in your signature, although I'm not as familiar with AMD hardware as I am with Intel and Nvidia.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Yes and no.  If the developer allows 'cross buy' - then yes.  Some of the popular games you will have to buy twice though... Beat Saber and Superhot VR for example.

The developers reasoning is that they had to re-build the game for the quest 2 and it took time/resources etc. - so they want to collect another payment from you.

You can't play Rift apps on your Quest 2 directly, but if you have a VR-capable PC, you can play them on your PC through your Quest (via Link with a USB cable, or wirelessly with the new Air Link feature or Virtual Desktop). This should work for any game on the Rift store, as well as most non-Oculus games (Like SteamVR titles).

Perfect Nalex66, that sounds exactly what i wanted to hear. So basically i can download all apps and games from the store when i want to play through my PC Anyway.  I have besides the USB 3.0 cable as well the air link feature up and running, so i should have any worries, right?
