Hi,
Despite my headset is connected to my PC via a USB connector, Windows constantly prompts me that it can't find mt headset.
When I go into the Oculus App | Device, it indicates my Oculus Quest 2 & Touch is active and connected.
I do I stop Windows from prompting an inaccurate message.

Hey Suzanne, I see your PC can't find your device. We're happy to assist you. Before we do any troubleshooting steps together, check and see if your PC can handle the demands of your headset. Also, try using a different USB port in case the one you're using is faulty. Lastly, make sure your oculus software is updated. If the issue persists, submit a ticket here.
