Dear people of this forum, im a new VR Dev and im working with a Quest 2.
I need some help with what i want to do or want to know if anyone knows if its even possible,
so what i want to do is have the Quest 2 make a scan/mesh of the current room you are in and save it and put it in unity or project it live in unity (i thought it made a scan/mesh of the room with the pass trough / guardian stuff).
i coudnt really find anything online only one post 2 years ago but that wasnt with the Quest 2.
if anyone can help me that would be awsome

Probably not. The claim is it's a privacy issue. Beyond utilizing pass-through in ways Facebook approves of, I don't think you'll have any access to the cameras. Especially not for creating a mesh map of the room you're in.

I don't think so. Developers don't have access to the cameras, to my knowledge. What you can do is carefully measure everything in the room, then recreate it in your 3d modeling program of choice, then import it into Unity.

Sadly what i was sared for, do you think with an enterprice version of the Quest 2 that i will be able to access the cams ?
thank you for your answer ❤️
