I bought the Oculus Quest on December 16, and the delivery said it would not even ship until February 3rd. I've seen another post on here that someone had ordered one around the same time frame, and theirs was already shipped out. Is Oculus known for delivering early, despite my order saying it won't ship til February? Just curious as to why one would have such a late shipping date, and someone else is getting theirs right during Christmas time. ::neutral:
Oculus also ship from different fulfilment centres depending on your location. So that too could have an effect on delivery lead times. I’m in UK and the 64Gb currently says dispatch by 14th Jan for me, so way before your estimate.
I also bought mine on Monday, the 16th. The order said, usually ships in 7-10 days. On Monday, my Credit Card was only dinged for 01 cent (a not unusual practice to just confirm the card is valid). This morning (20th) the full charge hit my card, so I assume that's a good sign (most online orders don't usually charge before they ship). So... that's 4 days. Not bad. The online tracking still shows it hasn't shipped yet, so we'll see. Oh, and I live in WA state.
