I bought a Rift S on the 10th and barely this week has the status changed from Opened to Processing for Shipping. And It's been on that since monday. So i'm assuming by the time everything ships it'll be nearly a month before I get this thing.
Take around 2 weeks, Stays on open for around 10 days, Process for shipping last around 2 days, Ships 2 day air, Give or take a day or two in all of this, Hang in there

It's all about supply and demand. People demand it faster than the makers can supply it. Covid-19 is affecting manufacture and delivery. Thousands of planes are grounded. Lots of bored people in lock down looking for something to occupy their time. Being patient in lock down is better than being a patient in Intensive care.

Ordered mine in June. Deliver by date was yesterday. Order status is still open. I know the flu is slowing everything down but wouldn't (shouldn't)oculus at least send emails informing the buyer that the delivery was extended? I think that'd only be fair for everyone especially those that have waited over a month for a status change.

It is a weekend so maybe that is playing a part in all of it but I agree with you, Also, In the United States They ship it UPS, UPS will not deliver it on a weekend, I found that out the hard way.

Good to know that it's UPS. And yeah, I knew about the weekend delivery. Around where I live, there is 1 UPS driver that delivers on a weekend only for specific reasons....he's a dedicated driver lol. I also heard that rift a takes longer for delivery than quest?
