Quick shipping question incase anyone has encountered the same. I ordered directly from Oculus within minutes of the orders going live. I ordered the large storage headset, elite strap/battery, and link cable for a total of $600ish. I finally was charged (only $80 something) and received a shipping confirmation and tracking number. I had thought at first that the charge was just an initial charge/verification of payment method, but nothing additional has been taken out, and then I noticed my tracking number only listed the package as a pound and a half in weight, so Im assuming that maybe they only sent the link cable? What the hell?
Same thing happened to me, I just received the link cable, support assured me that it's in different batches so I think 28th oct / Nov 4th are the next shipping batches for elite headset and strap hopefully ?
they must be kidding. Ordering the Head Strap on the 16th of September and receiving it 2-3 weeks AFTER launch is inexcusable. Was definitely my last order from their website.
