Eleven Table Tennis now available on Quest!

I've been waiting for this one since Quest released. It's one of my favourite go-to games on Rift for a quick relaxing game of table tennis. It's a very good physics simulation, and has excellent AI opponents with a range of difficulty levels, as well as multiplayer match-making. I've been looking forward to playing in a room where I have more space than in my crowded mancave to dive for those corner shots!

It supports crossbuy too, so if you already have it on Rift, go grab it for free on Quest!

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

Here's a YouTube video of the Quest version from a week ago (the game has been in beta on the Quest for months).

This showed up on my Quest store page as 'free'. I completely forgot I'd bought it for the Rift, cross-buy is good!

Great game, works so well and untethered makes a lot of sense for games like this that aren't massively processor/graphics intensive. Having my PC in a small study room is the reason I never played the Rift version I think but this could become a very well used game on my Quest.

In short, I was disappointed with this title. I didn't find the haptics convincing at all (I remember it being better on my old vanilla Vive, which i don't have any longer). Also, the physics was a bit wonky at times, although mostly fine I guess.

But worse was the AI opponent having super vision (or complete game world knowledge, I'm guessing): If you juuust miss the table edge on the opponent's end, it knows. Same for the opposite, if you juust hit it, it knows that too. Always. I found that rather annoying actually. Should be an easy fix - just add a bit of randomness to it (depending ofc on the difficulty level). If for nothing else, just so that we super lousy players can feel a tiny bit better about ourself lol.

Does anyone know how to cross play in this game? Everything I've seen says it supports cross play. My friend has a Rift and I have Quest. We can't seem to make it work. Am I missing something completely obvious?

Rift players have to opt-in to the beta version for cross-play to work. I think, if you click the three dots on the app icon in your library, there should be a beta version option in that menu.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.
