Some features won’t show up until you do a full shutdown and reboot, while others are rolled out separately from the main update. I got v29 last night, but didn’t get the new Universal menu quick access bar, even after a couple of restarts. I did get some features (battery indicator on controllers, passthrough environment shortcut). Only had a few minutes to check things out, so I’m not sure if I’ve got the file management app or 120 Hz over Link. Anyway, try rebooting your headset; if that doesn’t do it, the missing features will probably just show up sometime soon.
Thank you nalex66, I had the same issue as MadHatter 74 and I was thinking of doing a factory rest, now I'm so glad I didn't cause I hated the thought of re doing everything from scratch. I got V29 a few days ago, I have reset the headset several times, I have the Battery indicators on the controllers but no new menu or the Iphone notification. I guess I just need to be patient, which is not one of my great virtues. Thanks Again.
There's a tip floating around that changing your Language settings might help. I changed mine from US English to UK English and back again and the missing v29 features started showing up (after I had changed back), including the new color icons etc. This might not work for everyone, but it did work for me on my Quest 2...
Same here. V29 on quest 1 but missing Multiple Account settings on experimental features menu. I tried to reset the experimental features settings a couple of times without any luck.
Don't forget the mobile app is important. I didn't have the new 'universal menu' until I'd launched and signed into the mobile app. Something I hadn't really done since first setting up my Quest 2 since the mobile app's interface is too clunky.
