I'm about ready to pull my hair out trying to figure this out.
I have a Rift S and a store account. I am aware not every game is cross play. Robo Recall Unplugged DOES support that. When I log into my Rift account it shows up as "free." When I search for the game on my Quest 2 it shows up to buy for $29.99. How do you set up the Quest 2 to pair or merge with my Rift S account? So that the Quest 2 can see all my past purchases and I don't have to pay for the game again? I have my Quest 2 linked with my Facebook account. I don't recall linking the Rift S if that is something I have to do. How do I get these accounts to merge or recognize each other??
I've been on reddit and forums searching for nearly 90 mins now and I can't get any where. I am about ready to call customer service.
You needed to set up your Quest 2 with the same account as your Rift (assuming you had the Rift account first). When you did the initial setup of the Quest 2, you would have been prompted to “get started with Facebook.” There was a second button on that screen that said “already have an Oculus account?” You needed to click that to use your existing account and merge it with your Facebook account.
At this point, I don’t think you can do anything to fix it yourself; you’ll have to open a support ticket and ask if they can merge your Rift and Quest accounts.
