To be assured that my oculus quest is updated correctly, I've seen on the official support page that you need to check if the Automatic Updates option is on. I followed every step in the oculus app, but no sign of this option in the "Advanced Settings Option"... :'( I don't seem to be the only one not having this option appearing in the app (see https://www.oqplay.com/features/how-to-update-and-check-your-oculus-quest-firmware/ ). Any reason why this "Update Software Automatically" line is gone on the app? Thanks in advance! 🙂

I left my Quest on standby but also connected/paired my phone through the Oculus phone app (by enabling location on your phone) came back a few hours later and the new update 333700.2680.0. had deployed.
I left my Quest on the other night (all night) but my phone wasn't connected and it didn't update so perhaps connecting the phone works, or it could just be coincidence but worth a try!
I’m still waiting as well. I tried for a few hours yesterday and today I have been waiting another two hours. Hopefully it will install in the next 3-5 hours.
Hey jsavr, I have done the same thing, paired my phone to the Quest through the Oculus phone app, but if you leave your phone without touching it, it will go to sleep after 10 minutes or so and then I wonder if it's still connected to the Quest. I just decided to stay and watch YouTube videos to keep my phone active for almost 45 minutes and I don't think it updated. Of course I don't know how you know what version is the latest other than I hear its version 10, but that's apparently not the actual numbering system used. I think it starts with 333700.something. So I am really confused about all this. I have auto update on.
