I have my quest hooked up to my pc with a link cable I went through the steps to get it linked properly but none of the games I have in my pc oculus app show up and steam vr doesn't register my headset or controllers so I can't use the vr games on there either. I've been trying to figure it out but everything says once you have the oculus software on your computer you plug your quest in to your pc and it just works but I can't find a fix

can your computer support link?

Because all the link does it turn your headset into a rift s based unit.

I am going to take that as a no.  Post your computer specs to prove it.

Did you make sure to allow outside sources in the Oculus app, then go to your desktop and launch steam vr

Yeah I already saw that video got unknown sources on when I plug the cable in it says enable link but when I do it just stays on the quest home and doesn't change

Well you have to look in the headset click deny on the first prompt, then enable link.
