I need to monitor live Beat Saber game play using green screen on Quest. Do I need a pc?

Dear Quest Support and Community:
I want to play Beat Saber with the new DropKey pop-up Studio in a Bag green screen (dropkey.com).  I have a mac and a pc.  I have a USB camera.  What is the easiest way to play the game on quest and capture it with a webcam behind the player?  I was told I could use Steam/Liv on a PC with a Link Cable on PC.  Why can't I install all these apps on Quest and forget the PC?  I need the simplest way to capture game play live, then I will figure out how to record it.

Any help much appreciated.  I have to demo DropKey and Beat Saber March 15.  Colum Slevin....help?

Hi rockyshare

The Oculus developers support section has information on this including the tools you'll need to download.

There are also a couple pretty decent YouTube tutorials out there if you search 'Oculus Quest mixed reality'.

To answer your question about whether you need a PC, yes, you do (or a decent laptop), that's what runs the video capture/mixing software (OBS) and you plug your external camera into the PC, a laptop's webcam should also work.

I'm no expert on this so maybe others who've played with mixed reality can give you more guidance and tips if you get stuck.

Very interestung. MR Streaming to OBS is possible without sideloading. Would be nice to be able to do it for regular streaming this way too.
