Is the Vader Immortal bundle deal for the Oculus Quest also available through other stores?

So if I would like to purchase an Oculus Quest at Best Buy or another vendor, would there still be a way for me to redeem the Vader Immortal bundle deal to my account? Thanks!

I'm a newbie myself, but I would assume it would recognize that you activated it between those dates and would give you the games automatically no matter where you bought it.  Just an assumption!  Best Buy has 18mo no interest to take advantage of as well!

That’s correct. It’s not tied to the store you buy it from. It shows up automatically in your library when you activate it. Not a code or physical package.

Once it’s been paired to and activated using a mobile device and linked to an Oculus account.

Just a note on the date requirements, for anyone reading this, from the Oculus website.....

*Valid on purchase of a new Oculus Quest VR headset (64GB or 128GB) (“Qualifying Product”) between 11/21/2019 9:00:00 AM PT and 1/31/2020 11:59:59 PM PT or while supplies last. To be eligible to redeem Offer, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in the jurisdiction in which you reside at the time of purchase. Void where prohibited by law. Qualifying Product must be activated within 30 days of purchase to receive Offer Item. Offer Item (digital content only): Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series – Episodes 1-3 and Lightsaber Dojos for your Oculus Quest device (approx. retail value: $29.97). Offer Item must be redeemed on or before 3/2/2020 11:59:59 PM PT and within 30 days of Qualifying Product purchase. Qualifying Product subject to availability, quantities are limited. Not valid on prior orders or purchases; cannot be transferred or otherwise redeemed for cash or promo code(s). Cannot be combined with other offers, discounts or coupons. Facebook Technologies reserves the right to modify or discontinue offers at any time. Limit of 1 Offer Item per Qualifying Product purchase. Other exclusions and limits may apply. Consumer is responsible for payment of any applicable tax for redemption of offer.

So looks like you need to purchase the headset between Nov 21st and Jan 31st,
activate the headset within 30 days of the purchase,
then redeem the games by March 3rd

(if the games must be redeemed by March 3rd and within 30 days of headset purchase, that would put the latest purchase date outside of the Jan 31st window by 5 days by my reckoning, unless delivery times are being allowed for there... not sure).

Also not sure how Oculus determine the purchase date if the headset is bought from a non-Oculus vender. Like @cashxx, I had assumed initial activation might be used for purchase date from non-Oculus vendors but that seems to contradict the 'product activation within 30 days of purchase' requirement. If vendors are meant to relay purchase date to Oculus, I hope the vendors are all up to speed on that. Probably best to download the games as soon as the headset is first activated, which I guess is what everyone is likely to do.
