Awesome setup!
Are you doing both racing and flight sims?
Either way, I am quite jealous 😊

The intention is to do both but i had a t300 wheel and 4k tv that i used for ps4pro and xbox one x. I picked up the new pc yesterday. Just played lone echo last night via air link on it and it stayed locked at 90 fps with 1.4 render res.
i have a stereo system which does surrond sound so i don't need headphones.
If you live in philly you could come try it.

Nice setup - good idea to have the dog guard the video card, you can't be too careful these days! 😁 Congrats with the rig.

What stand do you use? I've been considering getting an actual "gaming" chair and a flight/driving sim setup. I also want to get foot pedals to go with my T-Flight 4 HOTAS. I love playing Elite Dangerous in VR, and Star Wars Squadrons is fun on occasion. I've also been thinking of getting a driving wheel, foot pedals, and maybe a gear shift to support getting into racing games. But I'd need something that's compact and/or easy to store when not in use.

I have a couch in the VR room - I just added a table easy to set up and remove:
It gets the job done (I don't use the mouse pad - stick on table, throttle beside me in the couch, works great), got it from Amazon - I'm using the Logitech (Saitek) x52 - nice lights for Squadrons, lol

I gave away my couch... uhm... close to 10 years ago now. I wasn't really using it too often, and it got in the way when using the 360 Kinect. I don't really regret doing so either. I'm actually thinking of getting rid of my table too in order to free up some more space.

Was just curious about the stand you're using for the wheel and pedals 🙂 While I want to get a 3080ti, that is... not happening anytime soon.

Nice, I'm like you and prefer my surround speakers to headphones when VRing at my desk, it seems to me to be way better at directional sound... apart from one or two games that don't cater for speakers properly and don't set the soundstage to be static when selecting speakers as the option.
