Every time I plug in my quest 2 it disconnects from the oculus software and rift. super annoying!

are you using either the official link cable or anker 3.0 cable and if so i have a couple questions

1: did you update your graphics drivers?

2: is the cable plugged into a usb 3.0 port (the inside of the port should be blue)

 

It turned out to be a problem with the cable. For some reason  it was bent a bit  on the part that goes inside of the headset. I had to swap them around but it’s still kind of annoying that I have to  have the cord hanging out to the left instead of behind me.
