Link & Air Link disable game's 'Enable VR'.

Hi. I have a real problem launching X-Plane 11 in my Quest 2 headset. I use a cable to the headset, but if I enable Air Link, I get the same problem. This is, in essence, my procedure:

1. Start up Oculus app on my PC

2. Launch Oculus Link in my headset

3. Use Link Desktop function to find my X-Plane exe file and launch it.

4. Set up and start a flight

5. Go to the X-Plane settings/VR tab in order to check 'Enable VR'

... but before I can do that a icon appears, stretched out to half-fill the screen (and corrupt - it flickers and is generally unstable as I move my head), which I assume is the Link/Air Link logo (?). As I say, it is a very much stretched version of the original (which appears in the bottom left-hand corner) - two dark wavy lines on a white background, representing two superimposed mountain peaks. It says 'loading' at the bottom, but it's just an icon, nothing is loading and nothing ever loads: everything I need is already loaded anyway. With this covering the screen, the settings page is now dead and I cannot enable VR. If I try to enable VR on my PC monitor instead (which does not show the logo), I get to the setting page again in the headset, but the page will accept no input.. again, it seems 'dead'. Neither hand controller now works either.

Why does this icon come up every time? Many people fly X-Plane in VR: I can't find anyone else in XP forums who seem to recognise this issue. Happens if I load up XP 'vanilla', out-of-the-box, no addons, as well.

Hoe someone might recognise this and know how I can fix it! Many thanks.

Hey martinlest, while X-Plane 11 is not currently supported by Oculus, we're more than happy to help troubleshoot your Oculus Device/Software to see if it may be the source of the issue. We recommend opening up a support ticket with us here so that we can help you further.

In order to speed up the process, we do ask if you can attach logs from your system to your initial support contact so that our team can review them immediately. In order to collect these logs, please do the following:

1. Open the run window (Windows key + R)
2. Enter and run: C:\program files\oculus\support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusLogGatherer.exe
3. Wait for the executable file to pop up
4. Select logs for the last 24 hours
5. Wait for the log collection to finish. It should pop up a Windows Explorer window at the location of your newly collected logs.
6. It automatically generates a zip file and copies the zip to the clipboard so you can paste it to your desktop
7. Attach this zip file to your next support response

Also, we appreciate all that you've tried so far to get this working for you and we look forward to hearing from you so that we can assist you on this as soon as possible!
