Well when i use the link cable with my pc which it most def can run then i go into the quest it says enable link i press yes then it just disconnects what's happening and i'v looked every were for answers youtube reddit discord ect its just not working.
I had a similar issue. For me the issue was I had Air Link turned on but it has to be off for the cable to work. Unfortunately their error messaging definitely could use improving in this area. Hopefully that fixes it for you.
