Lone Echo 2 Issues

Running a 3700x and RTX 3070 with 32GB 3600 DDR4 RAM on the quest 2. At the recommended 72hz and auto resolution setting thru the oculus App on pc, I’m getting just a disappointing amount of stutter and immersion breaking experience to the point that I have to post here. I ran the original Lone Echo with same specs except a RTX 2070 super and had a wonderful gameplay experience. Can someone help me with understanding why this is?

I am using the new air link instead of link cable this time though. But my internet connection is solid, PC hard connected and quest 2 headset on the 5G network..

I have slighlty lower specs than you (mainly my GPU is a 2080) and while LE1 ran extremely smoothly at full fidelity, I had to turn most settings in LE2 down to medium to get a good experience. It's a very demanding game. I didn't enjoy it any less at medium (it's still fabulous) but it wasn't as graphically sharp if I wanted it to run well.

I take it your PC is connected at Gbit speed? Your internet connection doesn't come into the equation.

Are you running windows 11? Lone echo 2 stuttered like crazy on my RTX 3080 until I rolled my system back to windows 10 there is some known issue with windows 11 and oculus link.
