(Newbie) Help! Sudden serious ghosting noticed. Is this normal or broken?

Hi. Total VR newbie.
Just got my quest yesterday and blown away.
Now I Sudden notice light blurs I did not see initially. 
Googling says its god rays.
At this point, I would describe it as serious ghosting effects.
Don't know if its me or something went wrong.
Lens condition seem okay even though I once slightly cleaned it with an old microfiber rag I use to clean LCD screens.
Not making that mistake again.
Also the rings in the lens seem more pronounced.
I even see them during the black boot up screen.
In the beginning, if I centered my eyesight right they seem to be unnoticeable.

Should I return the unit for a new one?

Almost normal. Try to readjust your IPD slider to reduce these reflections. Be careful cleaning the lenses. Polishing could make it worse.

factory reset does not work.
Plugging up the noise whole to reduce incoming light doe not work.
if I move my head, there is a lot of ghost onscreen making it very difficult to concentrate.

Question is what you mean by ghosting. Very bright parts like white letters may cause reflections on the lenses know as God rays. They are pretty common on the Go or Quest. Ghosting is more used for a blurr effect behind objects while moving. There is also the black smear effect on OLED displays on dark areas crushing to total black.
