Sure they got it to work. Does it work well? Probably not. USB 2.0 is a slower speed cable

I’ve just tried it with Half Life Alyx. Could instantly see a large performance drop compared to my third party USB 3.0 cable or even VD. There is a lot of stutter and artifacts.

My new gaming PC doesn't have a USB type C port and I heard even the official Oculus link cable only has a type C plug on each end. They must be expecting 90% of gamers to also buy an adaptor who only has USB type A ports on their PC.

I bought a cheap USB3 A to C adapter on Amazon, and that works perfectly for me with the official Link cable. USB-C ports seem common enough on newer motherboards, but adapters shouldn't create problems for those that only have USB-A ports.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

For a $79 cable, they should just include the adapter for those who need it.

They should include a USB 3.0 charge cable with the quest not a USB 2.0.  Problem solved.  Want a better experience then you buy the Oculus cable.

I think that's exactly what they'll do at some point soon, maybe when supply issues are a bit more sorted.
I tried the included charge cable and performance was great in undemanding games but showed lag in the more intense stuff. Lag of both headset and controller movement and button lag.

I wonder if all the none working USB 3 cables people tried will now work, and perhaps be better than USB 2.  Perhaps someone can try and report back.
