Hi, i bought my son the quest for Xmas all was fine until he switched it on this morning, no access to his library or the store, wifi says it is connected (and is working through the house) but no content and when he goes to the browser it says no internet. Also we can't reboot the thing as when asked to choose via the vol buttons he cant choose reboot and it just shuts down.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hey @Jamsandwich999, I'm sorry to hear you're having issue with the Internet on your Quest. If you haven't already, please try forgetting the WiFi network and connecting to it again. You can do this by going to Settings->WiFi->selecting your Wifi network and then selecting the Forget button. If you're using a dual-band (2.4GHz and 5.0GHz) wireless router than automatically switches between the two bands then this may cause issues. If possible, try changing your wireless router settings so it only uses a single band. Please contact support here if you need more help. Thanks! -Rick

Did  you find a solution to this problem? My son is having the same issue.

I just got hit by this issue as well today. Pretty much cannot use the Quest at all now. Tried rebooting the quest several times and restarting my router.

The internet is fine here (using the same connection to type this out myself using my phone). My router outputs both 5GHz and 2.4GHz. They both work fine for all other devices. Forgetting and reconnecting to both did nothing.

I also tried setting up a mobile hotspot with my phone. No change problem persists. So it's not router specific. It's localised to the headset itself. But if others have the same issue. What solved it?

Tried connecting with the phone app. It says wifi on the headset is conneced. But I also get an error message of "could not connect to Oculus Servers." I put on the headset again and now Theit says Wifi is connected.

But browser can't load any webpages and the library have no icons, my friend list can't load.

Again... I can't do anything. The headset is essentially next to bricked...

and the WiFi is now back to showing "Connected, No Internet."

Any suggestions before I resort to the dreaded factory reset that wipes all of my saves in the games and apps with no way to back up anything to anything?

back up all your quest saved data with sidequest, as for your wifi, can you try as see if it will work at a friends house and connect to there wifi or if your phone connects to your wifi or mobile data and works try turning your phone into a hotspot and see if the quest will connect to that.

Maybe this thread contains some help:

Haven't checked on Quest, but I know that Index and Rift-S controllers use 2.4 Ghz and in some cases when active kill the wifi-signal. Happens to me too, but using the phone as hotspot helps. I'm not into multiplayer VR anyway, so it's not really a big issue to me, fortunately.
Btw, never had that problem with the great ol' CV1.

Would moving closer to the router disprove or prove this ?.  You know there seems to be some really funny problems that I don't have.  I wonder if there are different hardware versions of quest and touch ?

Any fix for this? My quest was working perfect yesterday. Today Can’t access the oculus store or do any updates. At one point it started to update an app got to 1,8mb then failed. My internet is working, but quest says it isn’t. Tried switching to a different connection and no difference. Big screen works as does Samsung video & next vr all playing videos off the internet. Alt space and VR chat say no internet.

Im interested to know as well, i've seen too many of these posts but no one ever comes back and says yes or no, this or that worked, they just slide off into the distance... I've honestly never had the problem and i take mine everywhere i go when i'm working away from home and works as it should.... my honest guess is, 99.5% of the time its peoples router/network what gives them issues.
