I have given in and ordered one from argos since ive been told few times you can return them there if they are not good for you, not hopeful ill be satisfied if i end up having to use setting 3 though and the black bars but will see
ordered a link cable from them too they had one in at the store im getting the quest from as they are sold out most other argos stores but they are £49.99 though i had a £5 voucher in a email so got it for £45 really. i will not open it though as ifthe ipd and headset are not for me i can return that too

OMG , I can’t believe Argos are selling the Link cable for £49.99 when it’s £89.00 from Oculus direct!
it was £49.99 on amazon uk yesturday but then it went back to £89.99 and said shipping in 1 to 2 month haha
there are other argos stores with them instock still but yesturday nearest one to me was 40 mile away then today there is on 12 mile away so i ordered. i may end up returning the quest if its no good but thought id grab one incase the headset is not too bad then ive saved money then
used the £5 voucher code too.
ill just use the quest 2 as is to test it really before opening the link cable as if i keep it i need to order pci adapter with usb c socket on as my motherboard does not have one
