Oculus Link Cable

With the current Covid-19 outbreak with no sign of letup in the coming months, coupled with slow/no manufacture coming from China I have decided to post this to help Quest owners get a working Link cable.  I would not ordinarily bother because I believe the OEM needs sales of accessories however given you can't buy them.......

These are the parts you need to make a working 7m link cable.  It works great.

All of the parts are in-stock and cost £34 including delivery if you have prime.  I realise there are other options but I have confirmed this to be working.  The clips are 3D printed from thingiverse and is working fine on a GTX1050Ti.  Here are a few pics :-

What's the micro usb 2.0 cable to power up the extender you bought?
And to what you connect it? To PC? To external power source? Ampere?
Thanks

It needs no additional power at least on my system. That micro usb is if you need to power really power hungry devices (I have not found anything yet mind).  All the specs should be on the Amazon site.  All was in stock when I posted.

All you need is in that thread - its for USB-A to Quest.  If you have thunderbolt or USB-C 3.0 on your computer you will need another solution or use a different port.

The only reason I made that thread is because it worked, when all the other recommendations failed.  Hence if it worked for me it has a very good chance of working for you.
