So, this Christmas I got an Oculus Quest 2, and noticed that wearing it really hurt my forehead, to the point that it was hard to play because of the pain.
I've tried messing around with the straps a bit, but nothing seems to work. If I loosen it, the headset just falls off my face, and if I tighten it, it starts to hurt again. I am using the glasses expansion thing that the Quest came with, because I wear glasses, but it doesn't really fix anything.
If anyone could help with this, it would be extremely appreciated, as this is really affecting the fun I'm having using the VR, and making it almost unplayable.
It definitely took me much longer to find an appropriate height setting (with the variable angle adjustments on the sides) when I didn’t massively tighten the two adjusters on the back of my head, but it did fix the issue I was having with head soreness. That being said, I still like to put it down and walk away for bit at easy every two hours.
When I first got the Q2 I felt the same. It's lighter but, feels even worse than the original quest. There are a few mods on thingiverse that can be 3d printed that make a night and day difference. This is what I'm using now. https://www.amazon.com/Pressure-Adjustable-Lightweight-Comfortable-Accessories/dp/B08LX4GXCD/ref=sr_... It should have came this way. Can't even describe how great the halo strap is. Obviously its more $$ though. If you love the VR experience it may be a worth while purchase.
