Oculus link not working. Please help!!!

I want to play Boneworks but I can't get the link working. It says it's connected and active but it also has the red X saying "USB 3 connection required".
My cord is USB 3 and it's in a USB 3.0 slot on my pc. I have all the specs for the link and all my software is updated to the latest. I've used multiple cords and none of them work. I'm not using the official link btw.

I'm having the same exact problem. But it actually worked 3 times with audio not working, and once with all green check marks with audio not working even though the app claimed that audio is fine. The other dozens of times it just detects my USB 3 as USB 2.
I don't have a problem with using audio straight from my PC but I do have a problem with Link working whenever it wishes to.
Everything is updated, I tried restarting different things like the PC, Oculus app, Oculus Quest. Plugging in and launching everything in different orders with all the USB 3 ports. Oh, and with Public Test Channel on and off. One day it works great, the other it's completely broken.

I figured out the trick. My Link works fine every time but only when I launch my PC after the Quest is turned on and plugged in.
The pc is fine but not great, It's not about the specs tho.
The cable I'm using is a USB 3 type A to USB C 3m cable from Hama. That was the only easily accessible and viable cable for Link in my country. It's probably causing the performance issues I got (maybe the cpu) but at least it's working now.
I was also changing the autoplay options for Quest in Windows a bit, maybe try fiddling with those.
