Oculus quest 2 won't shut down

When I shutdown my quest 2 it reboots after a couple of seconds, this is really annoying and from what I've read also shortens battery life.
Can somebody help me with that?

I had this issue - I would just press the button to switch it off (just into standby) after it had restarted - or not gone into standby on its own. In the end it went back to normal - but I would suggest firstly checking that nothing is activating the sensor, such as a cover or 3rd party interface etc, then I would suggest giving the sensor a clean. If neither of those work I don't know.

There is no light sensor on the Q2 (unlike other Oculus headsets).  The Q2 sensor is motion-driven so it will restart if you move it.  You may be best to go into your quest setting/devices and disable auto-wake.

hey a little update, i figured out that it only occurs while the headset is charging, otherwise it shuts down normally
