Oculus quest parts???

BiggCountry

so I bought my quest from the online store a little over a month and a half ago, the forhead sensor has faulted out, the Oculus support email line is obviously set up to frustrate people til they break their computer so it matches their quest, but after 7 days, and 4 different people chiming in to tell me to do the same thing the last person told me, 3 factory resets later and 0 people reading the fucking text in the emails, I have just come to realize this company will never replace my faulty system now I just want to find the part so I can do it my fucking self, has anyone had any luck finding parts to the quest?

If it's still under warranty, just send it back with a letter inside the box explaining the fault and the sh*tty customer service you've received (recorded/proof of delivery). As for parts, it's all made in china and build, so i'd try "Baidu" but other then that Ebay for a broken quest and then cannibalise it.

It's a shame that oculus has to employ idiots/people to read a manual and then they say ... eeeerrmm i don't know, I just work here, that's all it says....... hold please ........

That's terrible advice.  Warranty would be handled under RMA, so you need an RMA # to put on the box or it's likely to get lost when returned.  I would NOT just return it with a note inside unless you feel like fighting with people on the phone or email that really don't care what your outcome is and secretly hope you don't get assistance since you just took it upon yourself to go your own way and expect it to work.  You may eventually get what you want, but there will be a delay for sure since you are not following protocol. and of course there is the possibility you could lose your merchandise all together.
