Are there any ways to do this without using Facebook?
I wonder if the iPad USB dongle would work, I think it should, I can USB transfer to the Mac and grab the screenshots. Unfortunately I can't find the blasted dongle for the iPad and I am not lashing out £40 to test it.
Is there any way via wifi or bluetooth to transfer screenshots?
(Again, I am talking about getting photos off the Quest and onto the iPad, I am not interested in sending to the Quest).
I just tried the iPad USB dongle - it doesn’t work I’m afraid... it connects to the iPad and the Quest asks if you want to give permission to the device, but the import function on the iPad isn’t triggered like it would be with a camera. I think the iPad looks for a specific file system structure to tell it the device is a camera.
The only way I’ve found is to first transfer the files to the Mac, then either import into iPhoto (if your iPad syncs) or Airdrop to the iPad.
