Hi there!

May I introduce you to my very own comfort mod for the Oculus Quest – QuesTON!

QuesTON was designed to reduce the front-heaviness of the headset by installing a custom-designed counterweight system to the Quest’s back-strap, balancing its overall weight.

Key Features:

  • Optimally balanced counterweight at approx. 300gm
  • High-quality stainless steel – type 316 for corrosion-resistance
  • Rounded design – comfortable even while leaning back during sitting experiences
  • Five individually crafted weights span the entire width of the Quest’s back-strap
  • Doesn’t compromise flexibility, adapts to the contour of each unique head shape
  • Soft, Velcro padding adds an extra layer of cushion to Quest’s back-strap, better supporting the back of head
  • Achieves all of the above while managing to appear as a stylish accessory

You may purchase it directly here: www.musicshaun.com/product/queston

Or view a demo of the product in my video on the Top Oculus Quest Mods available today, including something creative for the touch controllers as well: https://youtu.be/4CR6iOqC5rM

I hope this will help anybody who are looking for ways to improve the comfortability of their Quest headset 😉

Yours sincerely,

Shaun Choo

You can get 5 square magnets and velcro them to the back strap for under £10.

You can also strap a battery pack to the back strap, which is what a lot of people have done. VR headset mods from a classical pianist...lol.

Heyy everyone!

Shaun here again with an update following my previous email introducing QuesTON, my Oculus Quest Counterweight system. I added a cable management strap to the middle counterweight and made a tutorial video on how one might use QuesTON to conceal a pair of earphones so the wires don’t get in the way during use. Above are photos of how it looks, and here’s the link to the tutorial if you wanna see how it’s done:

QuesTON is going for €29.50, link to product page here: www.musicshaun.com/product/queston

I understand if this might be seen as a novelty product, but I hope it interests anyone who is looking for a dedicated accessory to help solve the front-heaviness while concealing excess cables 😉

Yours sincerely,

Shaun Choo
