Quest 1 reduced max resolution with link in v27

I'was using Quest 1 with link at maximum resolution in desktop app at 5408x2976 with no issues and very good image quality.

Now after the headset and pc updated to v27, the maximum resolution is 4128x2272.

The image quality is significantly reduced.

Anyone with the same issue?

I'm having the same problem after yesterday's driver update. The maximum rendering resolution is fixed at 4128x2272 with x1.0.  I don't know if this is what the developer intended or if it is a bug.

After a bit of searching, it seems that this resolution is the same as the native resolution of Quest 1. I think they adjusted the display of the default magnification. I don't think I need to worry too much about it.

We do need to worry about it because it decreases image quality and my system and GPU were fine with a higher rendering resolution. Why did oculus make this choice for us??
