I’m trying to cast a Quest 2 to something, the smart TV doesn’t appear to be Chromecast or anything enabled so instead I’m trying to cast to the app on the iPad (running IOS14.7.1). The app says it’s connected to the headset with a green light but when I start casting on both devices, the headset says it’s now casting but the app just has a permanent spinning wheel and doesn’t show anything. Both devices are connected to the same Wi-fi network (via a BT Hub6). I can’t find anything on Google that relates to this, all the guides show that it connects straight away.
I don’t know why SaldanaFam, but it suddenly started working after trying it many times, there was nothing different that I was aware of. By then I’d already ordered a Chromecast dongle for the TV! The casting to iPad is still a bit hit and miss but the Chromecast works fine with no problems.
