Quest 2 Lenses (housing) Uncomfortable Around Nose - Suggestions?

Anonymous

Hi. I'm new to the Quest 2 having previously owned the Oculus Go.  I was wondering if you would help with a (lens) comfort question.  My IPD is 54, so I've set the lenses to the closest setting inside the Quest 2.  However, when doing so, the weight of the device causes pain where the outer lens housings sit on my nose.  When I move the lenses to the middle IPS adjustment, it is more comfortable but I also see some blurriness and god rays.  Is there a mod or accessory that can be placed around the hard plastic lens housing to soften them up?  The hard plastic along with the weight of the Q2 is really making it uncomfortable to wear.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you tried to put in the spacer for users with glasses?

Great suggestion.  I hadn't thought of using the spacer without glasses.  I'll give it a try, thank you.

I'm using this.https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4623392 It disperses the pressure across your forehead and keeps it off your nose. You need access to a 3d printer though. With a little creativity you may find something around the house that could help. I feel your pain, my first hour playing was horrible on my nose!
