Hi my Quest 2 is stuck in a restart/update cycle. Is anyone else having this issue? If so any solutions?

Hey, so sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble with your Quest 2! Try plugging your headset into the charger and leave it be for 30 minutes, then check it again to see if the update has begun progressing again. If after 1 hour the update has not resumed as normal, reboot your Quest. Should the problem continue to persist, please click here to submit a ticket so that we can look into this matter further with you. Thanks! -Kassidy

Hi Kassidy,
Should I leave it be powered on or off?

Hey again @nolanflynn, if the battery is low, you can power it down to allow it some time to charge and it should power itself back on once sufficient power has been reached. Otherwise, you're okay to just leave it on standby during this process. -Kassidy

Did they give any fix? Or will it probably have to be sent back.

Restart your phone. Fixed it for me.

I had this.  I suspected it was something wrong or incompatible with my WiFi router, so I started a WiFi hotspot on my phone.

I then factory reset the Quest 2 so that I could choose a new Wifi, and after I chose my phone hotspot, the update started downloading properly.

To factory reset, I turned it off by holding down the power button. And then after it was off, I pressed Volume Down + Power until a menu appeared, and then pressed the volume down button until it highlighted the Factory Reset command. Pressing power then selected it and reset the device.

Hope this helps. If you don't have a phone hotspot, maybe go to someone else's house and use their wifi to attempt to connect.
