Quest 2 mic don't work when using Link

Anyone else having this issue with Quest 2 mic not working with Link?
Is it a common link issue? Is there a fix, or a setting I'm missing?

Go to your sound device settings and make sure the Oculus Virtual Audio Device is named "Headset Microphone" without quotes.  This has been an issue for a long time with oculus link.

Will check, thanks.
So can you change name in the sound device settings?
Or how do I fix this, if this is the issue?

I was just able to solve it, in properties changing in listen / play with. From standard device to Headphones (Oculus Virtual Adio Device)
Fixed it and now working, thanks for showing me in the right direction!

Hi, you mind sharing how you solved it?

In my Windows 10 Settings > Sound > the device is displayed as "Headset Microphone (Oculus Virtual Audio Device)" > when I click properties I see that it's already called "Headset Microphone". Also I wonder how this could affect if the microphone works or not. When I speak I see no movements. So it looks that the microphone is not working at all.

I did a Skype test call and it just records nothing.

I tested the microphone by entering VRCHAT (disconnected from the PC, just to be sure that the microphone was not defect or so), other users could hear my voice. Funny way to test the microphone 🙂

btw the weird thing is that my microphone was working. I managed to play Arizona Sunshine via Oculus Link (via SteamVR / Oculus Link) and after playing the campaign he started another mode and in that mode the microphone stopped working and I could never make it work again, also not in the campaign...

Thx for letting me know, cheers

UPDATE: this post helped me: https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/comment/783637#Comment_783637

I made sure that the device was selected in the Settings before connecting the Oculus Quest 2 as "Link", then in Skype I selected the proper mic/audio and did the skype test call and it worked.
