Quest - Headset charging issues

So i have been having some issues charging the headset recently. Plug the unit in correctly, amber charging light is on, however the charging seems to be at a snail pace. In 18 hours the charge on the unit went from 2% to just 29%.
Had not been having issues previously and the headset had been working just fine. The only change is that it hadn't been used for a week, as was on holiday. However, was just stored as normal and not left on charge.

Oculus troubleshoot says

If you encounter any issues with charging your Oculus Quest, try the following steps:
  • When charging, ensure that your charging cable is properly connected to your headset. If you aren't sure, unplug your charging cable from the headset and power brick, then plug it back in.
  • Make sure that the LED light on the side of your headset is lit while charging. If the LED light is not lit orange or green, your headset is not being charged properly.
  • When your headset isn't charging and isn't in use, make sure that it is turned off or in sleep mode.

Try rebooting to boot menu see if that helps

You have to press and hold Power and Vol Down buttons for 20+ seconds and then you will see a boot menu. You don't need to reset your Quest to factory settings (unless you want to), just select normal boot

or see this forum post

and finally Oculus support on Reddit says

Are you charging the Quest on a computer or a wall outlet? If you are using a PC or laptop, please try connecting the charger to a wall outlet.
If that doesn't solve the issue please leave the headset unplugged and turned off. If the headset detects that the battery is getting too warm, it will stop charging the battery. Once the headset cools a bit then the charger should work again. If that is not the case, please reach out to our Support Team at https://support.oculus.com/885981024820727/.
Thanks!
