Hello I just tried using Oculus Link on my Quest and it says that the hardware in my PC is incompatible. However, I have a NVIDIA GTX 1060, which is supposed to work. Please help me.

I'm assuming you have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060M (Mobile GPU), which isn't actually currently supported by Oculus Link. The Desktop variant is supported, there is a substanntial performance difference between the mobile and desktop variants. https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-GTX-1060-Mobile-vs-Nvidia-GTX-1060-6GB/m164336vs3639

You really need to use Oculus' own requirements, they're available here............

Mobile GTX 1060 not supported............

Dear Oculus, If it ain't broke, don't fix it, please.

Will the mobile 1060 GTX be compatible in the future? (it's just 1060, not 1060M)

Ok... I am a bit confused. NVIDIA GTX 1060M is mobile and Oculus' spec sheet says "Not currently availible." I imagine it will be availible on the public release?

No. It says "Not Currently Supported"

If you go to the link I provided earlier, and read it, it also says..............

Supported GPUs for Oculus Link Beta

We're using this beta period to continue to test, iterate and validate
graphics processing units (GPUs). We plan to support more GPUs by the
end of the beta period.

Does Quest Link work with the Surface Book 3?

Does Quest Link work with the Surface 3?

No, do a bit more research and I think you will find that none of the Surface laptops are VR-ready (and link still needs a VR-ready PC).  For example;

https://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/gpc6d1/surface_book_3_and_vr_capability/

I have heard that some have got them to work in low quality (60fps) mode with some WMR headsets.

i9 13900K water cooled, RTX4090, Z790 MB w/wifi6e, 32Gb 6400 ram, 2x2TB SSD, 1000W PSU, Win 11, QPro, Q3, w/Link and Air Link, Vive Pro1 with Etsy lens mod and Index Controllers

The Surface Book 3 has a 1660 Ti with 6GB VRAM and in windows Mixed Reality it works just fine; you can play any number of VR Games; The 1660 Ti is also listed as a compatible graphics card. There is no reason it shouldn't be made to work.
