What batteries do the Quest 2 controllers come with? I had initially thought they were rechargeable AA since they seemed to gain some degree of charge whenever I powered down for the day but now they are just down at 10-20% and not recharging. In fact, I just went to use it, and the left controller is not found, so it seems like the battery has been completely depleted. Opening up the controller, it does not look like a rechargeable battery. If you do replace with rechargeable batteries, will they recharge within the device or you have to remove them and recharge separately?
The controllers come with standard non rechargeable batteries. Rechargeable batteries work fine. Get four and you'll always have a fully charged set ready to swap. The ideal, tho' expensive choice are 1.5v rechargeable cells. No, they don't magically recharge themselves inside the controllers lol.
