With the v23 updated after changing the resolution to the max on oculus is there any benefit/point of using sidequest and increasing the textures size?
Will it improve the image quality or am I doing the same thing using 2 different softwares?
I am kinda confused as resolution is one thing texture another.
Resolution Settings in the PC-Software take over when using Link/Airlink.
Texture Settings via Sidequest do the same when using the Quest standalone or with Virtual Desktop.
And yes, you benefit from the Sidequest settings.
Just use Space-Station as your home and in the upper right corner you will see a red and white checkered square which will become incredibly sharp using the Sidequest settings 🙂
But as mentioned this only works in standalone mode or Virtual desktop - when using link the PC settings take over.
